Cherry Pomegranate Energy Balls
My favorite kind of stash to keep hangry at bay! Simple and deeply nutritious, with tons of fruit and veggies hidden inside a sweet and tangy bite!
1 cup dried cherries (set aside in 1/2 cup servings)
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup of coconut shavings
1 scoop of Vanilla Complete Mix
1/2 cup almonds
2 tbsp honey
1 cup of favorite nut butter
Clean the pomegranate seeds from half of a pomegranate. Check out this easy, and mess-free way to harvest pomegranates.
Add the 1/2 cup dried cranberries, oats, Complete powder, coconut shavings, almonds, and honey to a food processor and process until grounded.
Dump contents in bowl, and combine with hands the remaining dried cherries and the peanut butter. Shape into tablespoon sized balls.
In order to create the balls with the pomegranate added, you’ll need to make sure the pomegranates are dried off from being cleaned, and gently roll and push the pomegranates into the balls.
Chill in the refrigerator for half an hour. Enjoy!
